An unplanned, candid conversation in 2018, between two glass industry professionals, discussing the tangible benefits of incorporating bespoke automation within the glass processing industry, provided the inspiration for GS-MR to take the lead with Glass Industry Automation.
Robert Owen and a leading IGU manufacturer mutually acknowledged that, with the ever-increasing challenges and demands being placed upon businesses, the time had commenced for manufacturers to challenge long standing and respected processes, in pursuit of safer, leaner, more efficient manufacturing methods.
GS-MR’s bespoke and innovative automation solutions, both designed and manufactured in the UK by GS-MR, contribute to future proofing the global IGU industry, facilitating previously unavailable advantages, enabling reductions in materials wastage, improvements in quality and productivity, reduced safety issues, enabling employee upskilling.
GS-MR have been granted patents for our unique PRO:Load operational process both in the UK and USA, with patents pending in Europe and Australia.
